What is the State Eligibility Test?
The State Eligibility Test (SET) Is an exam that is held at the state level and conducted under the University Grant Commission (UGC) and as per their guidelines. The following examination is conducted only once every year as it is the only gateway for the following candidates that they can apply for lectureship position and Junior research fellowships in the respective States.

Eligibility for SET Exam
The basic eligibility that needs to be fulfilled for a candidate who intends to appear for this examination is that candidates are required to acquire at least 55% of marks that needs to be secured without the values rounding off. The marks need to be achieved in the master’s level of the students from recognised universities by the UGC.
Pattern of SET Exam
